December: Daily acts of happiness

Tis the season to be overwhelmed. No, that doesn’t sound right.
Tis the season to be stressed. That definitely doesn’t sound right.
Hmm, what is it?
Tis the season to be JOLLY?
That sounds so good, but can I feel jolly, playful and happy?

The festive season can feel anything but magical.  If you are anything like me, you have found yourself caught up in the hustle and bustle and missing the fun of living. We can get so wrapped up in insignificant things and lose focus on the big picture, being present enough to know these are the good old days. This month, choose to be intentional with small acts of kindness and awareness to create happiness and smiles while sparking light into our own well-being.

Love Tap Tuesday:

A movement created to honour one friend's memory and inspired by another caring friend, #LoveTapTuesday is about a mini action; short, brief and heartfelt.  A heart emoji.  A thoughtful comment.  A short text to say you are thinking of them.

Daily Actions:

Start the day with the positive action, skip around or stockpile to complete on the weekend.  You do you.  Your ease and happiness is the goal; give yourself enough loving kindness to make it happen.

Smile Week:

The third annual Smile Week is about helping you smile more.  As children, we smile an average of 400 to 600 times daily.  An average adult smiles 20 times a day.  I am here to increase that number because smiling can relax your body and mind, reduce stress and strengthen the immune system. We will play along all week in the Facebook Group Force of Happiness. Come join us there.

As December unfolds, let the spirit of giving and kindness guide your actions. The jolliness ofMay your December be filled with mini memories that have an abundance of kindness, spark a smile and create a force of happiness.

I am starting my kind actions by leaving a positive review for a small business. Share in the comments what daily action you will do first.
